Desfrute no paraíso e relaxe!
new, clean, with attention to the smallest details. the restaurant and beach bar are beautiful and literally on the white sandy beach.
The island of Thinadhoo is fantastic: the bikini beach actually extends along the entire island and the reef can be reached by swimming and is rich in corals and fish.
We really appreciated Ecoboo's cuisine which we always found varied and of great quality. Phenomenal grilled fish! Not least all the chef's other dishes! The excursions are unmissable and allow you to discover the many wonders of the Vaavu atoll, from the reefs of the nearby islands to the most remote sandbars. They take place on board the legendary Dhoni and you are always in the company of a fantastic crew, friendly, smiling and above all very prepared during the guided snorkelling trips.
The experience of our first dive with the Diving instructor Serena was unforgettable! A warm thank you to all the staff who made us feel pampered like family!
Special thanks to Loredana, Christian,
Shabeen and Serena!
The rooms are entirely made of bamboo)
Very friendly staff)
We took breakfast + dinner, there was varied and tasty food, the fish and fruit were amazing
We had lunch for $7-10 in nearby cafes
There are shops nearby with everything you need
Cleaned 2 times a day
The guests are mostly Italians)
The island is very cozy) you can get around completely in about 20 minutes, there is a large Plumeria hotel nearby, we went there to play table tennis, visually we liked our hotel and the beach more, they only have a larger territory, and we also rented a jet ski from them, 30 minutes - 50$
Transfer to the island takes 1:30 minutes and is inexpensive compared to other hotels
I wholeheartedly recommend this wonderful hotel to everyone, price/quality ratio 10 out of 10
The Scuba Diving-Equipment was brand new! Go and check this out!
The Ecoboo staff is really friendly and the facilities look really nice.
From the moment we arrived at EcoBoo, nestled on the enchanting Thinadhoo Island in the Vavu Atoll of the Maldives, we knew we were in for an unforgettable experience. Picture-perfect in its bamboo-clad charm, this eco-friendly haven had us enchanted right from the start.
**Arrival: A Warm Eco-Friendly Embrace**
Upon our arrival, the hotel staff greeted us with warm smiles and a helpful attitude. Their dedication to service was evident, although prior communication lacked the personal touch we craved. Despite a minor hiccup, their eagerness to assist smoothed out any wrinkles, setting the stage for our tropical adventure.
**The Island Vibe: Nature's Symphony**
Surrounded by lush greenery, our room, though lacking an unobstructed view, exuded comfort. The beds were heavenly, although the pillows left room for improvement. The gentle rustle of leaves and the distant sound of waves crashing added to the island's soothing ambiance, making every moment in EcoBoo a peaceful retreat.
**Exploring Marine Wonders: Snorkeling Delights**
EcoBoo’s beach opened up a gateway to marine wonders. Swimming and snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters, we discovered a vibrant world beneath the surface. Majestic sharks, graceful manta rays, and playful dolphins became our companions, turning every snorkeling session into a magical adventure.
**Culinary Adventures: Tasty Treats and Considerate Service**
Dining at EcoBoo offered simple yet satisfying meals with a local touch. Typically, we had a choice between chicken or fish, accompanied by rice, salad, fruits and desserts. While the menu lacked the diversity of a high-end resort, the food was good, though not exceptional. The staff’s consideration for our 8-month-old baby was heartwarming, adding a touch of personal care to our dining experiences.
**Island Excursions: A Different Day, A New Adventure**
Each day, the hotel organized intriguing excursions that piqued our interest. Although we didn’t partake, the variety and creativity in their offerings were evident. Exploring neighboring islands and indulging in activities on their safari boat added an extra layer of excitement to our stay.
**Departure: A Farewell with a Promise to Return**
As we bid farewell to EcoBoo, we reflected on the adventures, the laughter, and the sense of serenity this unique island retreat had provided. The journey back to Male, though facilitated by a third-party service, was comfortable, allowing us to savor the last moments of our dreamy escape.
In summary, EcoBoo is a hidden gem for nature enthusiasts seeking a blend of adventure and tranquility. With a few tweaks in communication and minor amenities, this charming eco-haven promises a paradise worth revisiting. So, if you're looking for an eco-friendly escape where marine marvels meet island serenity, EcoBoo awaits with open arms, ready to weave your dreams into reality.
The place blends in with the nature of the island very quiet and simple; giving you very nice memories to remember back home
The whole staff is cooperative and very welcoming starting from the manager Mr. Hugo to the room service wich is done twice a day.
All the trips we did everyday were very exciting ; swimming with the nurse sharks, sand bank island, ship wrack, fishing and dolphins watching so many good memories for us as a family. Our youngest baby Orwa/ 2 years, was able to snorkel with us and see many fishs and even nurse sharks! He was so excited about this experience same as his sisters. For us this was the highlight of all the trips to be able to swim all together as a family
Here I want to send a special thanx to Sirina and Shabeen, who where responsible for the trips, for making it possible for us as a family with baby and 2 children to swim all together very safely, for being always caring and ready to help as if they were a family member and this is exactly what you get at the Ecoboo boutique hotel.
Food could have been more variable especially the fruits since we are on a tropical island but still it was delicious and that’s what matters most 😉
